The GCE-US Youth Advocacy Engagement Program is a program that not only equips students, young professionals, and youth from various backgrounds with information about education for all, but also empowers them to share their knowledge with others.
Youth and Student Advocacy Trainings
Have a classroom of high school or college students generally interested in learning more about advocacy? Working with youth on what it means to speak with your elected leaders? We offer youth and student trainings on how to advocate for global education, speak to your local, state, and federal elected leaders, and much more.
We’ve created our own Youth Advocacy Engagement Program and worked with organizations, like AMP Global Scholars and UNICEF USA to train youth and students to speak up and create change around global education and other important topics within US systems.
The GCE-US Youth Advocacy Engagement Program is a program that not only equips students, young professionals, and youth from various backgrounds with information about education for all but also empowers them to share their knowledge with others.
As a GCE-US Youth Advocacy Leader, you will work with and learn from our coalition members about how to advocate for equal access to quality education worldwide. You will also gain knowledge and skills in advocacy, coalition-building, grassroots organizing and the legislative process.
This training program is the beginning of a long-term experience in advocacy for global education. Each participant will take the tools learned at the training home to his/her own community and engage in monthly actions for at least a 6-month commitment period with support from the GCE-US team.
Please subscribe to GCE-US to receive updates about the next Youth Advocacy Summit training.
GCE-US Monthly Coalition Meetings are open to all youth to attend and/or participate. Every month we host a coalition call to share resources, hear what our coalition members and other partners are working on, and how to take action. To get involved, reach out info@gce-us.org for the details.
