EFAC strives to improve conditions for all children with adaptable education programs in response to emergencies, disasters, and crisis situations. Our strategies include direct engagement and a virtual community of practice. We strongly advocate in favor of education research, policies, financing, engagement and eliminating barriers to inclusive education services for children, especially those with disabilities, to meet the needs of all children. Our goal is to help children develop their global competencies, so they can reach their greatest potential in a complex world. Our programs focus on advocacy and support, social-emotional learning, climate education and digital innovation, to enhance cognitive development and overall well-being. EFAC’s services address learning, literacy, resilience, and healthy life habits. Our practice areas include capacity building, training, educating, and resourcing programs. EFAC is formally associated with the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations, Global NGO Executive Committee, the Innovations Academy, UNHCR Global Refugee Forum, UNESCO, and UNICEF.
