Washington, D.C.—-In an effort to continue to raise the profile of the need of comprehensive national and international plans to facilitate and foster Education for All, the Global Campaign for Education-US Chapter with coalition member, The Nobelity Project, is sponsoring a screening of the film “Building Hope” at the Tribeca Cinemas, 54 Varick Street, NYC on February 5, 2013.

“Turk Pipkin and the Nobelity Project did something unprecedented in the production of Building Hope,” said GCE-US Executive Director, Dr. Edwin Gragert. “By telling this story, they showed how international relationships and strong communities can change the way education is provided and accessed around the world. They also demonstrated that education must not stop at the 8th grade in Kenya,” he added.

Produced by award winning author, director and actor Turk Pipkin, Building Hope is the story of the construction of Mahiga Hope High School in a remote village in Kenya by the Nobelity Project. Tickets for the screening are available for $15 at http://conta.cc/VI5sDY.

“It’s ludicrous to think the problems of the developing world will disappear without every child receiving an education,” says Pipkin. “And audiences respond so wonderfully to Building Hope because they discover that the goal is achievable, and they see that kids in Africa are willing to work hard to get there.”
